Benzo Chem Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Gitanjali Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., wholly owned companies of the Mohatta Group, have been pioneering the chemical industry since 1982. Our journey began with Gitanjali Chemicals, focused on phthalate plasticizers. We quickly expanded our expertise to biocides, pharmaceutical intermediates, and performance chemicals, building a diverse portfolio that includes:

Driven by a passion for innovation and sustainable solutions, we established Benzo Chem Industries in 1986. This expansion allowed us to further refine our capabilities in chlorination, cyanation, and custom synthesis, becoming a market leader in these specialized areas.
Today, under Benzo Chem, with five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India, including a 100% export-oriented unit in Malkapur, a cGMP block in Ambernath and Jalgaon, and one plant in the special economic zone (SEZ) Dahej, we proudly serve clients in over 30 countries, including the USA, Brazil, Europe, Japan, and Korea.

Our Company Timeline
1982
Gitanjali Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is established, marking the beginning of our journey in the chemical industry with a focus on phthalate plasticizers.
1986
Expanding our horizons, we establish Benzo Chem Industries Pvt. Ltd. in Jalgaon, strengthening our capabilities in chlorination and custom synthesis.
1997
Furthering our commitment to growth, we open a new manufacturing facility in Malkapur, Maharashtra, expanding our production capacity and product portfolio.
2009
Our 2nd Malkapur unit becomes a dedicated 100% Export Oriented Unit, solidifying our presence in the global market. Built our 1st GMP plant in Ambernath, near Mumbai
2010
Got accredited ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 18001:2007 by IQCS
2019
Built our 2nd GMP plant in Jalgaon. Our SEZ plant in Dahej gets operational in phase 1
2021
Benzo Chem Industries receives ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications from TUV NORD CERT, GmbH, demonstrating our commitment to quality management, environmental responsibility, and workplace safety.

Our SEZ plant in Dahej under DCS system gets operational in phase 2
